Coping with panic attacks is a process that does not happen overnight. It requires the victim to devise a treatment plan that comprises of behaviour modification, relaxation techniques, medications as well as psychotherapies. When the treatments are combined, the victim can then manage his stress well. There are factors that cause stress levels to fluctuate: work commitments, family responsibilities etc. With ever mounting pressure, one becomes prone to panic attacks. Here are a few tips you can heed when coping with panic attacks.

Medications

Benzodiazepines type medicine such as Valium, Xanax and Ativan are prescription drugs meant to help a patient deal with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). They are used as a mean to provide short term relief.

For long term treatment, the patient may be given Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI’s) such as Prozac, Paxil or Zoloft. In severe cases, patients may be prescribed anti-seizure drugs. It is important that the patient use these forms of drugs occasionally and only when needed because they can impede the body’s natural system of coping with panic attacks.

Therapy and Counselling

It is during therapy sessions that the patient acquires several useful relaxation techniques that he can use during his episode. Through counselling, he is also advised to reiterate affirmations and change the way he thinks. The therapist will also look into ways where he can change his lifestyle. The patient will also learn how to project his thoughts such that they are positive and rationalised. This will help him tackle his fears.

Psychotherapy helps to familiarise the patient with the condition through a thorough explanation of its causes and symptoms. This allows him to deal with panic attacks in a more prepared manner. The patient can also consider taking up yoga or meditation sessions to help him restore calmness in his mind. These sessions also help to eliminate unnecessary stress. He can also find the support and understanding he needs in support groups.

Natural Remedies

Eons ago; our ancestors have discovered many medicinal herbs that assist one in coping with anxiety. These herbal remedies are available in the form of warm tea or tincture. They can help one sleep better as well as relax his mood.

* St. John’s Wort
* Kava
* Valerian
* Skullcap
* Passionflower
* Ginkgo biloba
* Catnip - yes, catnip tea

Health supplements and vitamins can be taken if one is determined to attain mental wellness. Popping Bacopin can help to bring down one’s anxiety level. Vitamin B-12 helps with the release of essential neurotransmitters into the brain too. Chamomile is also unmatched when it comes to its effects to relieving stress. It is known to have a tranquilizing effect and it inhibits the release of stress causing chemicals.

Best of the Rest

There are other methods that have become eminent over the years. These holistic methods focus on overall health rather than targeting and treating an individual symptom. Hypnosis has proven to be effective in its ability to help in thoughts diversion; shifting one’s attentions on his fears towards positive and rational thoughts. Exercising doubles up as an antidepressant and sleep-inducer, and is often the most productive way one can release suppressed anger.

Another technique that is fast becoming popular is the stimulation of one’s brain to trigger endorphins. They are natural mood enhancers that are produced when one is exercising or having an intense work out. Endorphins are also released after sex. Acupuncture sessions restore one’s calmness through the stimulation of endorphins.

Chronic anxiety disorder and panic attack would you consider them to be the same? i hope your answer was no, or you are about to face some real issues. I will cover some of the symptoms from this disorder, and what you can do to control them. Believe me this condition as bad as it seems, is curable.

Let us identify the symptoms a victim has to face on a regular bases! and i will also add they are a lot similar to a heart attack.

Symptoms of a typical panic attack.

* Fast heart beat.
* Sweets.
* Feeling dizzy.
* Trouble breathing.
* Tingles.
* Tight throat and chest.

It was just a panic attack, How did it manifest into chronic anxiety disorder?

All symptoms listed above are the same as those you experience when you have chronic anxiety disorder, but it is a constant thing day in, day out some times on the hour, depending on how bad, and how long you have let this condition go on.

Biggest mistakes that get made after an attack is this, you try to understand why this happened and blame it on the miner incidental that occurred during you week, etc, fight with the partner, job pressure, the one thing you are not realizing it is gradually becoming a Major problem, and you keep brushing it under the mat.

It is only natural you do not want to face the possibility that you are having recurring panic attacks and they are serious. They will not go away by them selves, that i will assure you. Chronic anxiety disorder digs in hard if it has been left untreated.

Mental disorders you generally will face not long after the physical symptoms arrive!

* Paranoia insecurities.
* Severe depression.
* Eating disorders.
* Fear of illnesses.
* Fear of any thing that creates fear.
* social withdrawals.

So you can see life for a chronic anxiety disorder patient is not a pretty picture!

When we are faced with situations that scare us and we feel we can not control it, this is when we over react and make the anxious moment 3 times as bad and then it turns into a full blown panic attack. Chronic anxiety disorder is created because then victim has not got the confidence to experience the episode and let the feeling just go, and get on with it.

Well the good news is there is a technique to stop anxious thoughts for some one who’s suffers with chronic anxiety disorder, you can learn to change things, it is natural, and very effective.

When looking for help for panic attacks it’s not always easy knowing as there are many different reasons that can contribute to the condition. Modern living and a hectic overworked lifestyle can cause our mind and nervous system to become so over stimulated that a panic attack is the result.

This over stimulation causes an imbalance of our brain and nervous system and it is this balance that must be restored to allow us to regain control of our lives and help panic attacks to become a thing of the past.

If stress is the cause of our problem how do we overcome it? Most of us are not in a position to up sticks and leave our family, quit our job or get away from whatever situation is causing us to experience these panic attacks.

We have to restore a balance so we need to teach ourselves how to confront the anxiety that is troubling us and learn to keep it under control and we can program our minds how to do just that.

We obviously need to reduce or eliminate the stress that is the root of our dilemma; this could mean making some basic changes to our lifestyle. A change of diet could help and making sure that we get a good nights sleep, regular bed times and a better daily routine can help us to achieve a general feeling of wellbeing which will in turn reduce stress.

By bringing some order into our lives you can overcome your panic attack problem. There many ways to reduce stress and so help people to learn how to cope with their anxieties. They do not need to involve prescription drugs and once the right course of action is found the benefits are immediate and will help panic attacks to be out of our lives for good.

If you are one of the 75 million people worldwide suffering some form of anxiety, you are more likely to live in Australia USA or the UK. These are the countries which have the highest rates of anxiety and we do not know why. But if you are wisely considering herbal anxiety treatment, here are four questions you must ask before you start.

1st Question:- How do I know that herbal anxiety treatment has been clinically tested?
There is very encouraging evidence from loads of clinical trials. MEDLINE, which keeps an eye has noted that there are now over 50 trials published and their standards of testing and trialling are approaching that of mainstream medicine.

Secondly, Health Canada has set up a watchdog body called the Natural Health Products Directorate (HHPD) to ensure that all citizens have access to safe natural products used in complementary healthcare. Part of their brief is to ensure quality control and safety standards.

2nd Question:- What is the best and safest herbal anxiety treatment?
Herbs such as kava kava, valerian, gingko biloba and St. John’s Wort have all been used successfully in treating anxiety and depression.. They are not without a few minor side effects but there do not seem to be any risk of habit forming. St. John’s Wort is the most widely prescribed medication for depression and anxiety in Germany.

3rd Question:- How do I know that a herbal anxiety treatment has been properly prepared?
You will need to have a look at the website of the company producing these preparations. If it is under FDA supervision, as some of them are, then that is some reassurance. You will need to see evidence of clinical trials and also who the staff are who work there and if they are qualified herbalists or homeopaths. Very often, the same company will manufacture homeopathic anxiety treatment.

4th Question:- What are the guarantees on the product’s purity and what is their refund policy?
You can also ensure that they are using GMP practices and that their products are gluten free and also do not contain artificial coloring, preservatives. In addition all the ingredients used should be listed in the USA Homeopathic Pharmacopeia.

Now that you are armed with this information, what is stopping you from clicking through to my website. It features a company which is renowned for its herbal and homeopathic anxiety treatment which has over half a million customers worldwide. It over delivers on every one of the four question we have asked above.

Did you know that 14% of patients with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) who also suffered from depression have attempted suicide at least once? A friend of mine who was on Xanax ( a typical anti anxiety drug) composed of benzodiazepine suffered from memory loss, fatigue and felt that it was too addictive. Fortunately he was able to reduce the dosage. As there are so many question marks about these drugs, many people are turning to homeopathy for anxiety.

Overwhelmed by negative thoughts and emotions

The first fact about homeopathy for anxiety is that we are dealing with an overdose of negative emotions which range from worry, fear, tension, and apprehensive thoughts which destroy a person’s ability to live a normal active life. Can anxiety homeopathy really help?

As homeopathy deals with treating the whole person, it is very effective in dealing with anxiety as, in fact, the patient’s whole health is at risk. Anxiety has devastating effects and can last for a very long time.

How does homeopathy actually work?

The second fact is about how this treatment actually works. The whole rationale behind homeopathy is the idea that natural ingredients from plants, herbs or other natural substances are selected to cause similar symptoms to those which the patient is suffering from. These quantities are in extremely diluted amounts and the idea of ‘like cures like’ means that the immune system will be better able to react to heal itself,when exposed to the symptoms of, as in our case, anxiety.

Dilution means potency

The third fact about homeopathy is that the more the substance is diluted the more effective it is as a cure. Nobody quite understands this but studies need to be done on the molecular structure of such diluted ingredients. In our case, we do not need to know exactly why or how it works. We just know that homeopathic medicine is effective for many conditions and has no side effects and is not addictive. That is why anxiety homeopathy has been the subject of much debate but not much research.

FDA regulates homeopathic medicine

The fourth fact about homeopathy for anxiety is that the FDA actually regulates the manufacture of homeopathic medicines and all the ingredients have to be in the USA Homeopathic Pharmacopeia. Another fact is that the manufacture of these medicines has to be in a FDA registered facility.

Why not click through to see what herbalism and homeopathy for anxiety actually involve and what are the guarantees offered by the company featured on my website.

Most social anxiety sufferers live a nightmare social life. Those feelings of anxiety seem to control more than their state of being. These feelings of anxiety are taking control over their life.

If you are a social anxiety suffer, you don’t need become desperate about it. I’ll show you how you can make the most out of your condition.

Read the following few tips to skyrocket your dating life:

1. Treat your feelings like friends. Yes, I know that this may sound counter intuitive but you need to change your attitude towards your feelings. The more you suppress your feelings the more emotionally attached you become.

The solution is to welcome your feelings and feel them completely.

2. Use your condition to your advantage. There is no point in feeling like a victim because you have social anxiety. If you have social anxiety then it will be harder, not impossible, for you to have a successful dating life.

But you need to use this to motivate yourself. If other people who don’t suffer from social anxiety ask on dates 5 people each month, you should ask 5 attractive people each day.

Do it like a sport, like a training to help you overcome your social anxiety. Don’t care about the results at all. They don’t really matter while you are doing these exercises.

3. Start thinking for yourself. If you are suffering from anxiety disorders, you are not thinking for yourself.

Stop gathering information from outside and start gathering information from inside and from your first hand experience. Don’t just copy what looks cool. Get in touch with what you really like and forget about what society tells you to like.

How to Cure Anxiety and Panic Attacks - Learn How to Cure Anxiety and Panic Attacks

Anxiety attacks can be frightening and even paralyzing when they occur, but it doesn’t have to rule your life. They can be very frightening for the patient but can easily be treated through a program or management strategies and mechanisms.The program must lay emphasis on how to cure anxiety and panic attacks.

What is an anxiety attack? It is an intense feeling of terror and panic. The person feels that they are losing control and will experience all the symptoms of being incredibly frightened. These include increased heart rate, sweating and shaking etc. These attacks can come suddenly and without warning. They can last for about 5-30 minutes, but the actual symptoms can last quite a bit longer.

Causes of Panic and Anxiety attacks:

Sometimes it can be a simple as an overactive thyroid (Hypothyroidism.) This condition will speed up a person’s metabolism and body functions. This leads to insomnia and extreme nervousness. The results will be anxiety or panic attacks and symptoms similar to maniac depression. This condition can also lead to depression.
Heredity, childhood factors, biological factors can make people more susceptible to panic attacks.

Manic or bipolar depression patients can also suffer from these anxiety attacks.
Stress or depression can be part of anxiety attacks and can aggravate the situation.
Caffeine and nicotine or recreational drug use can also have an impact on your susceptibility to anxiety.

Treatment: It is very important to treat anxiety and panic attacks early or they will become habitual and may develop into something worse if neglected. They will not just go away. Managing and treating anxiety can involve a number of viable alternatives that you can use either instead of, or in conjunction with medicine.

Yoga is a good alternative medicine and can be used to reduce stress and regain control over you. Mediation, breathing exercises and physical positions help you to relax and release tension. Yoga’s calm yet disciplined approach to life can cut down panic attacks and allow you to improve the quality of your mental and physical health.

Eating better and exercising will help you to keep your body on a more even keel and will relieve stress. This can often help with panic or anxiety attacks. Excess of junk food can cause mood swings, which can aggravate your condition.

Sometimes you cannot find a cause for these attacks and it is often this that makes many sufferers so upset. If you are having anxiety attacks on a regular basis, correct diagnosis and options for treatment should be discussed with a doctor, but for many people understanding anxiety and exploring alternative treatments can minimize the impact of panic attacks. Do not feel that you will just have to live with these attacks and the suffering that comes with it. Knowledge is power. Explore options for treatment as early as possible and get your life back in control again.

If you suffer from panic attacks and anxiety and want relief i.e. if you want to know how to cure anxiety and panic attacks ,and if you’re tired of trying pills, potions, and therapy… If you’d like to eliminate anxiety once and for all, as safely, naturally, and as effectively as possible… then it’s time to take control of your fears.

Be prepared to let your heart beat fast, sweat and what other side affect your attack usually gives you, it will not kill youLet it know it only has 20 seconds, tell it your way to busy to waste time with it.

Ask the attack to get on with it, you have only given it a short time to finish its threat.

You are allowing 20 seconds for it to fully manifest, but not a second more.

Getting the picture here, you are not trying to stop the attack, but now you are taking control on how long it threatens you.
